Félix

Félix Rêverie headed over to the college library. He was the tech guy on campus always on call for computer problems. He was called because the computers used by the visitors had lost internet connection. He entered the building and headed to the scene. He crouched and started to check the cables under the table. His tail was lashing behind him.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon was writing the last of his lecture notes when his video stopped. The raccoon let out a quiet snarl as he pressed the play button over and over again before getting up in a huff.

Looking over the table he could see the shape of someone behind. Approaching the man he let out an exclamation in a rude and hurried tone, "Excuse me."

Félix

Félix Rêverie perked his ears when he heard a voice. He looked around before to see if he hadn't inadevertently unplugged an ethernet cable. After a couple of seconds of looking around he kned he couldn't ignore the person. He crawled from under the table and stood. "Yes? What can I do for you?" You could see he was a tall otter, clothed in professional clothes.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon looked the otter in the eyes, he stood almost a foot shorter than him, but matched his gaze. "Are you the computer guy?" The raccoon said in an annoyed tone. His tail swayed from side to side in a sharp manner as he tapped his feet, waiting for your response.

Félix

Félix Rêverie nodded softly. "You can call me that." He looked around. "We received reports that the internet was spotty. I'm currently investigating." He looked at you. "Let me guess, your computer lost internet, right?" He scratched his chin. "So if you wait a bit I might find the source of the problem."*

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon shook his head, "I need it now, these notes are due in an hour and I haven't had time all week to do them." The raccoon patted his feet hurriedly, "Is there any way you can go faster?" He says, before you are able to move.

Félix

Félix Rêverie blinks at you. As in good IT tech fashion, an obvious answer germinated in his mind. If you wanted him to go faster, maybe interrupting his work wasn't a good idea. But he kept the remark to himself. "What's your workstation? I will check that one first then." He looked at you intensly.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon took a step backwards, and then looked down at his feet before meeting your gaze again, "It's this way." He says, turning around and leading you to the workstation, swishing his tail slowly behind him.

Félix

Félix Rêverie followed you. His eyes were on your body, checking every curve. He was checking you out. "Not bad." He told to himself. He smiled and went under the table where the table was located. His tail was now swishing. The cable was still in the computer. He followed it to where it was supposed to go. It was unplugged. He plugged it back in and crawled out. "Can you try now?" He looked around. "Not sure if it will really work though."

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon was frozen, his eyes locked down on you. Not blinking, the raccoon stood there staring for a moment before blinking back to reality, his face turning red from embarrassment. "Uh, sorry. Could you repeat that?"

Félix

Félix Rêverie sighed. "Can you please check your workstation and check if you have internet back?" The lights were blinking but he had to make sure the user was happy and satisfied. "After that, I will check why the others have some problems."

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon sat down nervously and opened his web browser, clicking some of his bookmarks the websites sprung to life, "Oh it works, thank you for the help." The raccoon smiled nervously, hoping to himself that you would go away now, as he felt embarrassed and awkward.

Félix

Félix Rêverie smiled and nodded. *"Alright. Good to hear. I will continue my work. If you need me, I will be crawling under tables." He wasn't too happy about that idea. So he went away to his investigation. He worked till he was closer to the answer.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon nodded and quickly finished his work, peering over to the IT tech every few moments. Standing up he packed his books and moved to the back of the library, feeling the need to escape from the situation.

Félix

Félix Rêverie found the issue. He tested all computers and they were working properly now. He went back to his office where he closed the ticket. That night, the memory of the raccoon stayed in his mind. A couple of days later, he was at a Starbucks not far from campus. He was ordering a hot beverage, usually tea.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon was walking home from an exam, he didn't do well, he knew that though. One thing on his mind was chocolate. A chocolate frappechino. He stepped inside, looking at his phone and not paying attention to his surroundings. Walking forward he bumped into the person in front of him, recognising it as the IT guy from a few days ago he pinned his ears back and waved meekly.

Félix

Félix Rêverie saw some waiving. It took him a couple of moments to recognize who it was. It was the cute raccoon of the other day. He approached as he waved back. "Hey. How are you? No more computer troubles?" He smiled and giggled. At this distance, you could distinctively smell his musk. Otters are musky in nature, but today it was a bit stronger.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon stiffened his tail up as the scent entered his nose, his ears standing back up. "Oh uh, no. Everything is good now." He rubbed his neck awkwardly, and looked around the room trying to find something to say. "I'm uh, sorry if I came off as a bit rude or in a rush the other day, I just needed to get my work done, so sorry, for being, yeah..."

He trailed off and looked around again, before the zebra at the counter asked him if he wanted to order.

Félix

Félix Rêverie sipped softly his tea and looked over at you. He was all smiles and beaming. "No worries. I get that all the time. As a tech, you develop a thick skin." He scratched his chin. "Can I maybe buy your drink?" He said following you to the counter.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon blushes, "Oh? Sure." The raccoon felt embarrassed, he took a deep breath, with more of your musk flowing into his nose. He looked at you and smiled, feeling more relaxed and accepting. "Can I get a chocolate frappechino please?", the girl asked for his money and he nervously looked at you.

Félix

Félix Rêverie put some money on the counter. He saw your embarassement. "Relax. I won't bite." He added "hard." in his mind. He was smiling and waiting for your drink to be ready. "So what are you studying?" He was genuinely interested about you. He wasn't really sure if he was clear enough.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon smiled, he was getting more comfortable, "I'm uh studying architecture, it's really not that interesting." He looked you up and down, your scent getting more and more effective. "I'm only in my first year though, things apparently get more interesting in senior year." The girl called his name, 'Pants'. He walked over and collected his coffee.

Félix

Félix Rêverie perked his ears at the name. "So, your name is Pants?" He smiled and moved his paw. "I'm Félix, nice to meet you." He didn't know where he was going with this but the company of the raccoon was enjoyable. You were getting cuter by the minute in his mind.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon laughed awkwardly, "Uh it's actually longer but most people just use Pants." He looked around the room again, "So you work in IT?"

Félix

Félix Rêverie took a sip of his drink. "What's your full name?" He thought about a good answer. "Yeah, I'm the tech responsible for the infrastructure. if a projector break, I'm on the hook to repair it." He paused. "Not the work I was expecting and wishing but it pays the bill." He glances at the clock. "I need to go soon. Do you mind to give me your number?" He blushes. *"You know... for hanging out... or..." He trailed off not sure if you were interested or not.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon blushed, "Oh uh sure... It's um, 00-00-000-000. And my full name is a secret, you'll need to get that out of me." He giggled, and took a sip from his coffee, "And I'm sorry about before, I thought you were a bit uptight, and I acted like an ass, and well yeah, sorry." He pinned his ears back and swished his tail slowly.

Félix

Félix Rêverie noted the number and smiled. "Thank you." He heard your apology. "Don't worry. I get that all the time. You are not first and you won't be the first one." He grinned. "If you feel so bad, you can repay me by going out with me." He was a bit more direct but it was worth a shot.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon stiffened his tail up and blushed, his face almost turning completely red, "Oh I um... Are we allowed to do that? Cause like, you're staff, and I'm a student and..." He kept making excuses and taking, his tail no longer moving, drooping still.

Félix

Félix Rêverie wraps his tail around his leg. His ears still flickering from the question. "I'm not a professor. I can date who I want. I'm not grading you in a way either. So, we won't get in trouble. We are two legal adults right?" He blushes. "To be honest I find you cute."

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon looked down at his feet, "I suppose, no one ever really asks me out." The raccoon was embarrassed, "Okay, lets do a date." He looked at you and smiled, his tail swishing slowly again.

Félix

Félix Rêverie blinked and smiled. His tail started to swishing playfully behind his back. "So, you are comfortable to date a guy? Right?" He blushed. "I just want to make sure that there are no misunderstanding about any expectations." He bit his lip after that phrase. "Sorry. I'm trained to cover my ass at work. So I overcomplicate thing.s."

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon stepped forward and playfully curled his tail around your leg, "I only date guys. And I'm not expecting anything, unless you are hoping to get something."

Félix

Félix Rêverie curled his tail around your leg too. "I don't expect of feel entitled to anything. Let's just see how the date go. Alright?" He looked at the clock. *"I need to go or I will be late. I will call you to organize the date." He smiled at you. He then proceeded to leave the cafe after waving to you.

Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon did a little wave as you left, before turning to the zebra behind the counter who was giving him a thumbs up. He took a sip from his coffee and then left, heading back to his dormitory.
